Yep 13 turns is ok. Putting back by number of turns is just a general guide to get it close assuming it was aligned correctly before you started.

what do you know about tie rods it said put back on with same # of turns as taken off took off in 12 turns but takes 13 to put back on the locking nut is in same spot at the 13 turns is this ok need to know now

While not many of my Moonie friends made it this year, we had a great time- with no incident. We cruised to the big duck Saturday morning...and enjoyed potluck, raffles and bonfire.

Proceeds from the raffle went to the The New Leash Rescue (a local dog rescue).

Maybe next year for the 13th year, we can get a PA convoy over the bridges.

Your pics are great! Maybe next summer we can try to work it in and bring some others with us! I've never been to the island before and it sounds like a good adventure!
