French Broad River Festival is May 4-6 (next weekend!) in Hot Springs, NC. The way this works is one can reserve a campsite on THURSDAY night, then at 8a Friday anyone can camp anywhere. Darkstar reserved a Thurs night spot where we usually land around site 248(?) I think Veg2001 might have an adjacent spot, maybe 250 or 246? These are large spots, but the area is close to the main stage and fills up FAST. We go in Thurs and set up empty tents to save places for our FMBC friends.

Should we save your bus a spot?

This is a fun, rowdy festival. Bring boating gear! We have friends with rafts. This party is at the takeout of the very fun section 9 of the French Broad.

We have about 7 buses on average, but always room for more. See you in Hot Springs a week from right now!

Is the Doc Ric crew coming? Your group won a nice camper in a raffle last go-round.

I'm excited about hanging with you Boyd & Mildred. Are you bringing the RV or one of those old school buses? We'll save you a spot either way. : )

We're bringing some extra empty tents to save spots & keep from getting FMBC entrance blocked up. If you show up and see an empty tent around sites 246-248, move it. That's your spot.

Yay! Carl's coming in that *EXTRA SHARP* splittie. Brad for sure has a spot and I *think* Scott Stinson has the adjacent spot reserved for Thurs night. First thing Fri morning it's a free-for-all. We'll put some tarps, tents & tapestries around to save spots for a little village of VW buses.

Tony is camping with us also. Hopefully he can get his bus back together by then, and I think he plans on coming Thursday also.

I got site 250 on thursday as well as the rest of the weekend. Im bringing my Full Moon Hippy Beer run bike and ice hauler. Anyone who wants to use it must pass my drunk test. As Pink Floyd would sing..... we`ll all put together as a team.

We all camp together around sites 250-248. It is a free for all campwise, sort of like fullmoon. We are lucky to have a couple guys hold room for us. Come on down, there is always room for more folks like yourself.

We are bringing Anna, our 9 month old Daughter. She has just started teething this last weekend. She has been waking up at all hours of the night crying LOUDLY!

Just letting those know who choose to camp near us, that this may be a possibility throughout Friday and Saturday night. We will do our best to keep her quiet , and happy. But no promises....
But... we don't care how loud ya'll are all night. Anna sleeps better with noise!
