Does anyone know if there will be another Blue Ridge Bus Tour later in the year?

Yep 13 turns is ok. Putting back by number of turns is just a general guide to get it close assuming it was aligned correctly before you started.

Hey there moonie guys and gals, Brew Bus 2012 is on and in the works.

We have been pretty busy and honestly have nothing done. We're moving right now too, so that helps...

The show must and will go on, the dates will be June 22nd-24th, but you can show up whenever. I think the Sunday before the campout is the record.

It will be held at the Lazy J Campground in Rosman NC just like always.
If you want a campsite with electric, you will need a reservation.
Otherwise the group field usually has a spot.

This is year 8 and its 2012, there is no design yet and Id like to get everyones opinions about what the shirt should be.
Ive never asked before, I just made it and hoped you like it, but I think it would be cool to get a collaborative effort this year.

I mean, after all, this could be the last Brew Bus we get.
You are the ones wearing them in the end, or not, but either way I want people to like and enjoy them.

So what do you think moonies?
What would you like to see on the shirts this year?

Once I get a design together, Ill build a site with all the details.
Overall, I see a low key event, maybe some music, but we will see.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience,
we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

A bus with a awning or easy up type thing with some ole time brewing going on and some volks standing about sharing some brews
If you want more detail... 8 volks standing around sharing brews, each wearing versions 1-8 of the Brew Bus shirts from beginning to present

What do you think of a mayan 2012 inspired design?
Maybe a mayan bus stone?

Some preliminary ideas were a bus octopus, with tentacles out of the wheel wells, or a big beer label, front and back.

I usually go through quite a few designs before one sticks.

Duckzilla III is in theworks! I do like Jeds idea, maybe 8 knomes with shirts on from each, maybe a rune stoce with each design?? You have always came up with some sweet designs so go ahead and put me down for a few!

Thanks to Boyd my bus is already marked for 2012, Brew Bus 2012 is painted on the front of the high roof! See you guys there!

Just over 2 months left til Brew Bus 2012!

If you are gonna brew, better get on it!

I usually make 7 flavors (35 gallons) to bring, I have been so busy, Ill be lucky to get 4 made. (Got an IPA bubbling away now..)
This year more than ever we could use brewers to make a batch to share at the campout. So thanks in advance brewers!

Still no decision about the shirt design either, what do you think of a Mayan Sun Stone that I would alter to be all VW and beer related?
It is 2012 after all.

The other idea Im focusing on uses UV reactive (for daytime) AND glowing inks (for night).
The idea is simple, a bus, someplace, with a nice fire and sky with full moon.

During the day, the fire is not lit (just a pile of wood) and the sun is out, its a beautiful day.
At night, the sun changes to the moon, the lights inside the bus come on, the fire is lit and you get the moon glow and fire glow on the bus and ground.
The idea is to see the transformation between day and night, kinda like 2 shirts in 1.

Thoughts?

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience,
we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Why not combine the two... Have a mayan/vw design with the night/day inks. Either sounds like a good idea to me or a combo of both would work. You do a great job so Im sure they will be awesome regardless of what direction you go.

Didn't the 5th Brewbus shirt have a Mayan design? Go with the bus, fire, and moon. you haven't done anything like that since the first Brewbus shirt. Which is still my favorite, and I still were mine often..
