I have 2 "Westys", same year, same color scheme, 1 full camper and a weekender.
I am selling the weekender for $6000

or use as downpayment on a VWsynchro-camper (4x4).

I originally bought the weekender for parts for my camper, but then it kept running so well after i gave it new cylinder heads, new steering fluid pump, shocks.....

Ok. I'm always behind the ball. Nothing available at Paddy's wagon. Do they tolerate doubling up on sites? If so, anyone willing to double?

The 3rd. annual Music on the Mountain, Aug. 27, 28th, 2010, Boone, NC.

This is a music festival, not a VW campout. Then again, the two go together like green eggs and ham most of the time. Here is the link to all the info. http://www.musiconthemountaintop.com/

It's sure to be a good time, hope to see you all there!

I got this email and thought that some of you might be interested in volunteering. What a deal!

Dear Music on the Mountaintop's non-profits,

My name is Lynn Sexton and I am an intern with music on the mountaintop with the volunteer section. We are in some serious need of reliable mature volunteers and we are hoping that you may have some contact information for anyone that may want to volunteer for the festival. All of our volunteers are given a free ticket, food, a t-shirt, and free camping for one four-hour shift. We would love any help you may be able to give us in finding more quality volunteers. Thank you so much for your time and help, feel free to call me if that is easier for you.

Sincerely,

Lynn Sexton
(336) 601-6940

As in years past, Wendy and I will be tabling for our favorite local non profits, the Mountain Keepers and High Country Disc Golf.

I would really love to Attend this and volunteer. I live in Boone and some other "Boonies" said that they may already be booked up for volunteers. If there is still a possibility I'd love to be counted "in".

If you want to volunteer, you need to call Lynn, 336-601-6940! I talked with her yesterday and she said the only shifts they have available are the second and third shifts (both Fri. and Sat.). They kind of suck though, 2nd. shift is from 5-9pm, 3rd. shift is from 8-12pm. Good luck!

We'll be in attendance again this year! Trying to get in touch with Lynn, we'll see if that whole volunteer thing works out... if not, we'll probably be vending hoops!!

We'll our plans have changed (as usual) a little. I am no longer going to table for High Country Disc Golf and just help Wendy with the Mountain Keepers. We should be there by 8 am on Friday, so if you need a pocket ashtray, stop by and say hello!

As for camping, I don't know what is going to be asked of us. Hopefully we can be together!

I was told vendors/volunteers can camp in the designated lot, but no cars would be allowed... I questioned the bus situation and got a strange answer about tents... I was told we could park in the general admission camping if we wanted, so it shouldn't be a problem. As scott mentioned we'll be selling hoops. They have promised to set us up right next to the third stage, which should be fun! As I see it, we just got front row, covered seating for the third stage. Please feel free to bring yourselves a second chair to hang stage-side with us during the day!! We've also been given permission to close up shop whenever we want to enjoy the music at the other stages. It sounds like it'll be a convenient second base camp for festival fun!! I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I've just got to get through the next two days...
