I agree, but the gallery for this software is not all that simple to use, prob why it was harldy used. I am looking into whether there are any plugins to make it easier.

Kewl thanks for the response Collie. I hope more people will utilize it because it's a far easier way for all Moonies to reminisce the campouts. I sure would utilize it to show pics of others and alls' kewl buses

Yep 13 turns is ok. Putting back by number of turns is just a general guide to get it close assuming it was aligned correctly before you started.

I am looking to find one original Thing wheel to replace one with a bent lip. I am told splitty wheels are similar but the backspacing is different so it has to be a Thing wheel. I am fishing to figure out the cost before making a decision weather to recondition these and go with powder coated black VW hubcaps or just swap them to 15" BRM wheels. so far it is looking like the cost is about the same.

There's a guy up in NY who advertises on Samba with a lot of thing parts that I got those window frames from, he has several wheels we were discussing getting a while back, since I wanted to have the spare match too. I just never bit the bullet on shipping. They're out there, but a lot harder to find...good luck...

Thanks guys but I guess I no longer need one; or at least I am not desperate. I ordered a new set of wheels yesterday; so the stock ones will be spares. If anyone happens to come across one dirt cheap and knows they will be seeing us at one of the events we usually attend, let me know I may go ahead and get one to replace one with a bent lip anyway.

Music is awesome while driving a VW, but turn it down on occasion to listen to your bus.
