Does anyone know if there will be another Blue Ridge Bus Tour later in the year?

Yep 13 turns is ok. Putting back by number of turns is just a general guide to get it close assuming it was aligned correctly before you started.

We finally set a date for you to all come and see our new place! We are really having the housewarming party on Saturday, but hey, can you ever camp to much? Friends are welcome to come hang out and camp on Friday evening so we can have some breakfast burritos on saturday morning! We would like to have a pot luck dinner on Saturday night, accompanied by some "hot apple pie."

So feel free to come check out our new home on 3 bus friendly camping acres! We love it and hope you will too!

Hi, I would love to do the drive up and see your new diggs. Would be a cool getaway for me. This all depends on what bus I have at the time. If I have my bus--the bus I have now I would for sure do the drive....but I am selling the bus to buy a westy and I will see how it all pans out. Good Luck with your new diggs

Thanks! You don't have to have a bus. Tents are welcome too... or if you want to bring a sleeping bag and crash on the floor, that is cool too!

I just bought a 79 westy and would love to drive it there and camp in it... this has been my dream bus. I know it will need some body work but if tht is all it needs I will be showing up in a green westy. If I remember you have a green westy to?

People are coming over to camp on Friday night... aren't you fairly local to me? I think that you could camp AND get some cheerleading in, AND come camp again! lol

He was one of the few that RSVP'd. We are trying to figure out how much food we need for the party (part of the reason why we said bring something to contribute), but so far we have only about 20 people confirmed (only about half moonies), and 30 maybes, along with 50 people who haven't said one way or another so may as well be maybe's too.

I am sure we won't run out of food, we are all resourceful people (and there is a store 5 min away), but my husband wants to cook some meat for everyone but doesn't know how much to get!

We did make a fire pit, but the walls didn't withstand all of the fires we have had in it so far... so it is there, but not so great and we don't have any type of grill area on top of it. Where do they get those ones like at FOTM? the ones that are adjustable? that would be nice!

The pit itself is about a 4' wide circle. we can burn lots of stuff in it

We want a smoker, we would have made brisket or ribs if so, but they just arent the same not smoked. I might just make some chili and have some burgers... that way we can just go get some more meat if more people show up! Besides, if everyone brings a dish there should be enough to go around!

From charlotte you would take I85 to Atlanta and then I285 W to the Atlanta Rd exit and take a right. Turn left on East West connector.
Another left at Powder Springs Rd (this turn is on a hill after a curve in the road and depending on the time of day it can be busy, if you miss it just turn at the second light after it and follow macedonia to old lost mountain). Turn right on Old Lost Mountain, when you see the white fence on the left the next road on the left is Shipp Rd. turn left on to this street and we are the second house on the right. If you get to the power substation you have just passed us!

Hope that helps some.

Sweet! Can't wait to see you Phil and start cooking! If you are bringing Apple pie too then we will have plenty to go around as I have enough for a triple batch! I think I am going to head to the store and get stuff to make Chili as it is quite chilly this am!
