Announcing the first annual “Werks in the Woods” Campout at Uwharrie National Forest. The event proceeds will benefit Alzheimers North Carolina Inc. This family friendly campout will be held at the Badin Lake Group Campsite inside Uwharrie National Forest on Friday September 21st through Sunday the 23rd. The Badin Lake Group Site is located off of Forest Road 597A (gravel road) and can accommodate 100+ campers. Uwharrie and the surrounding areas offer many activities above and beyond the 4x4 trails found inside the park. Hiking, Mountain Biking and Horse Back Riding all have extensive trails in the National Park. While swimming, boating and fishing are all available options in Baden Lake just a few hundred yards from the campsite. We will be supplying information on these activities plus rentals, zip line and gold panning tours, as well as local shopping in the coming weeks.

The cost per adult is $20.00 and $7.50 per child( 12 and under ) for the weekend and includes dinner Saturday.Registration must be completed and payment received before September 14th.

Transporter Werks is looking for sponsors and donations for the raffle after dinner on Saturday. Tickets will be $1.00 each and all proceeds from the raffle as well as the weekend will be donated to charity. A specially designed tee shirt commemorating the weekend is also in the works, so be sure to check back for details.

Yep 13 turns is ok. Putting back by number of turns is just a general guide to get it close assuming it was aligned correctly before you started.
